November 8, 2010 Bill Introductions - Bills. No. 6-2010, 7-2010, 8-2010, and 9-2010
were
adopted as ordinances at the regular Council Meeting on December 13,
2010. Adoption of Bill No. 6 as Ordinance No. 1996 fixes the Tax Rate
for Real Estate for the year 2011; Bill No. 7 as Ordinance No. 1997
amends the Fee Ordinance for the year 2011; Bill No. 8 as Ordinance No.
1998 fixes the number of employees and wages for the year 2011; and Bill
No. 9 as Ordinance No. 1999 sets forth the City Budget for the year
2011.

Adopted
at the July 12th Council Meeting Ordinance No. 1993 amends Chapter
253, entitled ''Vehicles, Removal and Storage of', changing the title to
'Nuisances' and adding a new section for outdoor furniture
restrictions; Ordinance No. 1994 authorizes the execution of a 10-year
cable franchise agreement between the City of Greensburg and Comcast;
and Ordinance No. 1995 deletes in its entirety A-270, entitled "Cable
Television Franchise' which is obsolete from the City Code, Ordinance
No. 1646.
Introduction of Bill No. 2-2010
Bill
No. 2 was adopted as Ordinance No. 1993 and incorporates a new Chapter
entitled, 'Fire Code's' adopting all sections of the International Fire
Code dtd 2009.

Bill No. 1 was adopted as Ordinance No. 1992 incorporating updates to Chapter 227of the Code, entitled 'Solid Waste'.
