Grant funding is available for exterior renovations for business and commercial property owners located in the Main Street District in the City of Greensburg. Approved renovation projects can receive a maximum of $5,000 in grant funding for a $10,000 facade improvement project. . Lynn Armburst, owner of Greensburg Art Supply, received an $811.29 grant for the completion of her storefront renovation including a new awning and business sign. Geoffrey & Cathy Geier Michael Stewart (pictured with Sue, Steve, Mayor Eisaman and Barb) and Ernie Vallozzi received $5,000 towards restoration to their building front. Improvements included repainting and updates. These two projects represent a total of 12 projects completed under the City's Facade Grant Program. In total, $26,000 in grant funding and $56,000 in private funding resulted in $82,000 in physical improvements to buildings in the downtown area. . |
